Kudos to the member of Stephen Colbert‘s staff who asked Chris Hemsworth how Avengers: Endgame ends.
He must not’ve seen the memo.
The Late Show host assembled some of the remaining Avengers stars, like Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Chris Hemsworth, and Scarlett Johansson, and gave each of his staff members a chance to toss out a question.
To the guy who asked Hemsworth to spoil the ending, the Thor actor said he’d have to “straight up murder” him if he told. To his surprise, the response was, “Okay, I accept.” Worth it.
Others asked questions like, “Would Captain America ever consider running for president?” and “who would win in a fight between…?” Larson didn’t let the staffer finish that last question because it really didn’t matter the odds. Captain Marvel wins every time.
As for an Oval Office run for Cap, Evans said, “I think he does more good outside the system, like Oprah but with more punching.”
