A new Rihanna album could be finally around the corner, after a leading producer admitted that she’s “super-close” to finishing her next record.
The pop titan is yet to release the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Anti’, but The-Dream says that she’s almost finished on her latest effort.
“She’s cooking, she’s about done. She’s about done. Super close,” he told HOT 97’s Ebro Darden.
The latest update comes after the singer practically confirmed that a new record will arrive at some point this year.
“When is the album dropping Robyn? Can we have a release date for that?,” wrote one fan on Instagram.
“2019,” Rihanna curtly responded.
Producer Kurk Harrell, who worked with Rihanna on ‘Anti’, has also spilt the beans – describing Rihanna’s latest as “incredible.”
In the video, Rihanna, who stars as Glover’s girlfriend, walks into a room while he’s playing guitar. She says: “Practice is perfection.” Later, amid clips of street carnivals and other colorful montages, Glover says: “We live in paradise but none of us actually have the time or the means to live here.”
A release date for both projects is yet to be confirmed.
