The superstar couple debuted their new live show at the Principality Stadium in the Welsh capital last night (June 6)
Beyoncé and Jay-Z kicked off their On The Run II world tour in Cardiff last night (June 6), with the duo delivering a career-spanning 42-song setlist – check out fan-shot videos, pictures and the full setlist below.
The two artists’ giant world tour is now underway, with UK dates set to take place in Glasgow, Manchester and London in the next two weeks – some tickets are still available, which you can find here.
During a set which spanned two-and-a-half-hours, both Beyoncé and Jay-Z played a number of their own solo hits from their respective back ccatalogs– while the pair also performed ‘Drunk In Love’, ‘Upgrade U’ and ”03 Bonnie & Clyde’ together.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have reportedly rehearsed over 60 songs for the tour, with the pair performing 42 of those last night.
The show was also backed by a pair of huge screens, which at one point flashed up images of the couple holding two infants with the words ‘Love is universal’ projected on a screen in between.
Many fans initially believed that the babies in the video were the couple’s twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, but a rep for the two artists subsequently told Buzzfeed that the children featured in the video are not the couple’s children.
