Holly Maniatty fast-paced interpretation of 'Rap God' has gone viral

A video of Eminem‘s sign language interpreter has gone viral after she kept up with the rapper’s rapid-fire pace.

Holly Maniatty, who has previously signed for Jay-Z, Wu-Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, and more, joined the star as he headlined Firefly Festival in Delaware earlier this month (June 16).

Now, a video of her signing ‘Rap God’ has spread across the internet, impressing viewers with the speed at which she synchronized her interpretations. A video of her interpreting during the performance posted to Facebook has gained over 19 million views at the time of writing. Watch it below now.

Eminem sent out a message to fans at Firefly Festival amid controversy over the use of “gunshot” sound effects in his set. After he was roundly criticised at Bonnaroo for including the noises in his performance, the rapper’s manager stated they were, in fact, a “pyrotechnic concussion, which creates a loud boom.”

Ahead of his headlining appearance in Delaware, a message from Eminem appeared on the big screens either side of the Main Stage. “If you are easily frightened by loud noises or offended by explicit lyrics you shouldn’t be here,” it read.”

Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones‘ Sophie Turner recently showed off her rapping skills by delivering a word-for-word rendition of Eminem’s ‘The Real Slim Shady’.

The actor gave her performance while appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden last week (June 22). The host challenged her to show off her talents after she told him she spits “pure fire”.
