Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris) is not messing around in A Series of Unfortunate Events season 2.
“This time, I have no mercy,” vows Olaf, to the Baudelaire orphans, in the new season 2 trailer, which Netflix just released. “I won’t be satisfied with just your fortune. I will obliterate you in the cruelest way possible!”
Honestly, that just sounds like the normal Tuesday for Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and Sunny (Presley Smith) Baudelaire. In case you forgot, Netflix’s adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s mischievous book series follows the Baudelaires as they suffer misfortune after misfortune, usually at the hands of Count Olaf, a man who is determined to get his hands on their wealth. As the new season 2 trailer reveals, their lives aren’t going to get any better this season.
“This episode in the lives of the Baudelaires is about to get much, much worse,” says Lemony Snicket (Patrick Warburton) at the end of the promo.
Joining the cast in season 2 are Lucy Punch, Nathan Fillion, Tony Hale, Robbie Amell, Sara Rue, Roger Bart, David Alan Grier, and many more.
The complete second season of A Series of Unfortunate Events hits Netflix March 30.
