Look out, Harlem: Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is back.

Almost. EW can reveal the indestructible Defender and ex-con will return in about three months — on June 22, to be exact — when the second season of his solo series, Marvel’s Luke Cage, hits Netflix. In the meantime, Luke has a message for anyone standing in his way: “You can’t burn me, you can’t blast me, and you definitely can’t break me,” he says to the camera in the exclusive teaser above. “Wanna test me? Step up. I’m right here.”

Indeed he is. According to Netflix’s official synopsis for season 2, Luke has become a well-known hero in Harlem since he saved the city and cleared his name. But, to butcher another Marvel hero’s motto, with great celebrity comes great responsibility: Now that more people have come to know who Luke is — and what he’s capable of — he’s even more eager to protect those in his community, yet it’s impossible for him to save everyone. And when a new villain comes into his orbit, Luke will be “forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.” Well, at least he’ll have Danny Rand (Finn Jones) by his side when the time comes. Maybe.

Images have also been released from the upcoming season, including one of Luke inside what looks like a refurbished Pop’s (along with a new swear jar?); one of Luke surrounded by kids (and another shot of him surrounded by enemies); and finally, a glimpse of him and the bionic-armed Misty Knight (Simone Missick) in action.

Just consider it all (sweet) Christmas come early:

Marvel’s Luke Cage returns June 22 on Netflix.
