Flight Of The Conchords is set to return, with an hour-long special set to start filming later this year.

The snippet of news comes via ET, who confirmed with the show’s Jemaine Clement that a “little something” is planned for fans of the cult show. 

“We’d do something,” he replied when asked if a Flight of the Conchords reboot was in the works. “We’re going to film a little something this year. We’re going to shoot an hour thing,” he added.

AV Club confirmed the news with HBO, whose rep said, “The deals are not fully in place. We’ll hopefully have news soon.”

Flight Of The Conchords ran on HBO until 2009, following Clement and Bret McKenzie on their journey as “New Zealand’s fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo.”
