Luke Bryan, country star, is touring right now. Want to know more?
Luke Bryan is an American country singer songwriter. Born and raised in Leesburg, Georgia, the country life has come easily to him. The son of a peanut farmer, he worked the family farm from a young age.
Luke Bryan has his peanut farming father to thank for his success. Bryan, aged 19, planned to move to Nashville to pursue his dream, but tragedy struck the family. His brother was killed in a car crash. As a result Luke chose to stay close to the family for his Bachelor's studies, enlisting in Georgia Southern University. On completion of his studies his father presented him with an ultimatum; leave for Nashville to follow his dream or be fired from the family business.
There was only one option. Bryan left for Nashville and was soon signed to Capitol Nashville.
If you’re new to Luke Bryan but recognize the name, that may be because he sung the National Anthem at Super Bowl LI in 2016. Watch a video of the performance here.

What Are Luke Bryan's Best Songs?
Luke Bryan’s songs are well respected within country circles. Below is a list of his best five songs to date:
Luke Bryan - Drink a Beer
Drink a Beer is one of his most popular songs. It is co-written by Chris Stapleton (find out more about Chris Stapleton’s best songs). The version above features Stapleton on backing vocals, he is the guy to the right of Bryan. While not explicitly written with the loss of Bryan’s brother in mind, the song is about losing a loved one. Bryan feels a particular closeness to this song due to the traumatic events in his past. The song has gone platinum and reached number 1 in the US Hot Country charts.
Luke Bryan - Kick The Dust Up
This song walks down such well-trodden country paths that, in honesty, there is little dust left. We’re treated to a tale of having a party in a cornfield, out the back of a pickup. That’s not to say that Bryan doesn’t do it well. The song reached number 26 in the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the country charts in both the USA and Canada, all the while going platinum for sales.
Luke Bryan - Move
This song tells the tale of a northern girl moving to the south and undergoing a transformation, becoming ever more attractive in the process. The song was well received in country circles, reaching number 1 in the country charts in the US.
Luke Bryan - Strip It Down
This song takes a noticeable diversion from Bryan’s usual style. It is a far more poppy sound than that which Bryan is usually associated. As with all of Bryan’s songs though, it was well received well in country circles, charting at number 1. It saw some crossover success as well, reaching number 30 in the Billboard Hot 100.
Luke Bryan - Play It Again
This song is one of Bryan’s critically better received songs. It is about the joy in finding a song that you want to play again and again. As per usual, it topped country charts. It performed particularly well in the Billboard Hot 100 as well, peaking in position 14.
Does Luke Bryan Have a Wife?
Yes Luke Bryan is married to his college sweetheart. Her name is Caroline Bryan (née Boyer). They have been married since 2006, and have two sons named Thomas Boyer Bryan and Tatum “Tate” Christopher Bryan. They were born in 2008 and 2010 respectively.
