If you haven't watched Stranger Things, House of Cards or Orange is the New Black yet, chances are you live in a cave. Netflix hasn't just become a player in television — it has become the standard upon which all original programming is based off of. Several weeks ago my family realized that we were still paying for their DVD service. It was amazing then to think just how far Netflix had come, after of course the initial shock and freak out preceding a call to customer service. Setting aside their massive hits, check the 8 shows on Netflix you may not have heard of, but must start watching....immediately!

Before Bob Odenkirk was Saul Goodman, he was making nonsensical comedy skits with David Cross (of stand up comedy and Arrested Development fame).

Originally on HBO during the mid-90s as Mr. Show with Bob and David, Netflix was wise enough to scoop up the comedic duo and let them recreate their original hit. Any time you watch sketch comedy like Portlandia or Key and Peele, know that those shows are rooted in what Bob and David originally did. The Netflix series churned out comedic gold, which we all will be fortunate to watch further seasons of.
