Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters on Friday.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will arrive in theaters this weekend with a touching tribute to its princess-turned-general.

Formal reviews of the Rian Johnson-directed film are still tightly under wraps until later Tuesday, but those who have seen the film at early screenings in New York and Los Angeles have noticed the film is dedicated to star Carrie Fisher, who died last December at the age of 60.

During the credits after the film’s conclusion, the following words appear on the screen: “In loving memory of our princess, Carrie Fisher.”

Johnson also paid tribute to Fisher at The Last Jedi premiere in L.A. over the weekend, dedicating the evening to the woman who played Princess/General Leia Organa. “I want to dedicate tonight to Carrie,” Johnson told the crowd from the stage, according to Vanity Fair. “I know she’s up there right now flipping me the bird, saying, ‘Damn it Rian, how dare you bring the mood down and make this night a solemn tribute.’ So let’s all have a blast together for Carrie.”

The director previously told EW that Leia’s storyline wasn’t changed following Fisher’s death, but he hopes it will still be satisfying for fans of the character.
