"The first step and the hardest step, I reckon, is coming out to yourself..."
ICYMI, Tuesday was National Coming Out Day. And singer, actor and YouTube star Troye Sivan offered up some words of wisdom to anyone who has been considering coming out of the closet.
"The first step and the hardest step, I reckon, is coming out to yourself and realizing kind of who you are and dealing with the realization of your new identity, or not your new identity but just realizing your own identity," the 21-year-old, who came out on his YouTube channel in 2013, said in the video for Rolling Stone.
He also encouraged people to do it in a safe environment and explained that coming out was "the best thing I've ever done."
