It's an inspirational song of starry-eyed dream pop.
The Burgeoning has a simple-yet-powerful message on the group's expansive new song "Loud Dreams." "Just push the weight off your shoulders and follow your heart," sings frontman Logan Thierjung. These yearning vocals mix with swirling wisps of melodic rock and psychedelia to make "Loud Dreams" their own.
"'Loud Dreams' is a song about taking control of your life and going full tilt to achieve your goals to see your dreams and aspirations realized," says bassist Alex Thierjung to Myspace.
"The song takes place in that exact moment when you make the decision to go for it all. Logan is singing directly to the listener here, acting as a guide and offering encouragement to those who would be hesitant."
"Loud Dreams" is the title track from the Philadelphia-based group's upcoming record, which is due on October 28.
