It turns out "baby father" is just a term of endearment.
Nicki Minaj surprised fans at her August 8 concert in Burgettstown, Penn. when she introduced her fiancé Meek Mill as her "baby father." Fans filmed footage of the comment, and the rumor mill began whirring that Nicki could have a bun in the oven.

Some were skeptical of the statement, however, because neither Nicki nor Meek confirmed the pregnancy, and Nicki responded to multiple fans tweeting about the announcement with many crying laughing emojis.

It turns out the skeptics were right because according to TMZ, Nicki uses the term "baby father" as an endearment for the closest men in her life. In fact, she's even referred to Lil Wayne as her baby daddy in the past, even though the two are friends (as confirmed in the brilliant reply to such rumors, "Only.")
Sorry, Barbz—there's no baby Nicki on the way just yet.
