Over Halloween weekend, thousands of EDM fans skipped the trick-or-treating and gathered instead at the Pomona "Scareplex" for another edition of HARD Day of the Dead, the annual Halloween/Dia De Los Muertos rave celebration. Some of the biggest names in the electronic business hosted laser-filled sets with bone-chilling bass including deadmau5, NERO, Skrillex, Martin Van Buren and Flying Lotus.

Coordinating their first rave since HARD Summer's mishap—two teen deaths from apparent overdoses—HARD made abundant policy changes: the Halloween celebration was now a 21 & over affair and the party didn't exactly go all night long, ending the fun on both nights with a strict 11pm deadline. Security also stepped it up a notch and accumulated over 300 arrests this weekend according to the Pomona Police Department.

Nevertheless, HARD Day of the Dead didn't stop the festivities and made for another spectacular dance party on five total stages, attracting some of the wackiest and coolest costumes and dance moves. Before the bass dropped, we met up with some EDM faithful to ask them about their HARD Day of the Dead experience.
