Proponent of a powerful electro-dub rhythm, his name appears for the first time in 2007 on thecompilation "Dub Buds" released by the German label Phoenix Uplifment alongside OBF, Manutension(RIP), etc.. Then in 2009, he released his first vinyl single on the UK label Roots Youths (Disciples,Bush Chemists, etc.) entitled "Bangladesh dub". This is a huge success for Ackboo, this release will notgo unnoticed by gender specialists and who appear on many French national radio playlists (Fr Inter, Le Mouv '...) but also English (Safe Radio, Life Fm, ... ). In 2011, the U.S. label Black Redemption offers ACKBOO to release his second single, "How Long", still in vinyl. From the 1st week, it's on Blakamixs' top sales! (which is a famous UK dub dealer).

Later, ensue the first live shows across Europe especially during major reggae-dub events such as the Rototom Festival in Spain or the Outlook festival in Croatia. He has shared the stage with Horace Andy, Aba Shanti-I, Gentleman, Alborosie, Iration Steppas, Kanka... which allows him to refine his technique: On stage ACKBOO performs live dub mixes of his ownproductions with an analog console , using vintage effects, and usually, for more energy, accompanied by several MC’s!

With these experiences, ACKBOO multiplies meetings and collaborations allowing him to level up in 2013 with the production of his first album «TURN UP THE AMPLIFIER» on HAMMERBASS Records.Here's the program: heavyweight basslines, devastating, relentless rhythmic and original voices. 14tracks with prestigious guests such as KING GENRAL, OMAR PERRY, MACKY BANTON (Jah Tubbys and Iration Steppas Mc - global exlusiveness on ACKBOO's album!), MATIC HORNS (UB40, Gregory Isaac, Horace Andy, etc..), ZION I, ... Included the dubstep remix of the song "Bangladesh dub" by ODG.

In the wake of IMPROVISATORS DUB or KANKA, ACKBOO continues his dub mission with fervor for the greatest pleasure of "dubheads" all around the world!
