Dallas-based alternative CCM band Seventh Day Slumber was led by frontman Joseph Rojas, a former cocaine addict who turned to religion in the wake of a near-fatal overdose.
Teaming with guitarist Evan Weatherford, bassist Joshua Schwartz and drummer Adam Witte, he formed Seventh Day Slumber in 1996, and upon signing to the Afinia label the group issued Matthew Twenty-Five three years later. ~ Jason Ankeny
